Ice-Breaker 8k
January 29, 2006
Annual 8 km road race early in the year to start
the season and the Timex BC Road Running Series. Starts and finishes at
the Steveston Community Centre at 4111 Moncton Rd. Early bird entry

School Meet May TBA, 2006
At Clement Track
(Minoru Park), Richmond, for Grades 8 through 12 (age 14-19 years).
Wednesday evening meet. Ribbons to top three in each event, aggregate
awards for men and women; team aggregate awards.

BC Elementary
Track & Field Championships May 26-28,
2006
Over 1600 individual athletes and over 300 relay
teams from elementary schools all over the province will attend what is
usually the largest track meet in BC. No qualification times
necessary; awards provided to 16th place in most events. At Clement Track

Review Kajaks
International Track Classic June 4, 2006
Elite level meet on a Wednesday evening at the start of the
outdoor season, offering prize money for top ranked performances. As part
of the PacifiCanada
Track and Field Series, this meet is a qualifier for the Harry
Jerome International Classic. Takes place at Clement Track
in Richmond. 2005

 Labour Day
Weekend 8k September 3, 2006
Part 2 of the "Kajaks Bookends Series", this event has a 20+ year history. Takes place on the Sunday
before Labour Day, same location and course as the Ice-Breaker. Final race

BC Elementary Schools & Junior High Schools
X-Country Meet October 7, 2006
At McDonald
Beach on Sea Island, Richmond. Distances from 1200m to
3000m. School Team awards, medals for top 3 individuals, participation

2003 Canadian Masters Track & Field
Championships August 16-17, 2003
Kajaks was proud to host the 2003 CMAA championships at the Clement
Track in Richmond.
Competition was provided for Men and Women in five year age groups from 30-34 to 90+. Results
