Joan, John, and Howard, I was very sorry to learn of Cary's passing. I have happy memories of our time together as children when Cary and his family visited our Grandmother Maynard's home in Raleigh. Cary always seemed to create a little mischief durng his visits and we both enjoyed laughing at the adults. Unfortunately I do not think I will be able to join the gathering on Saturday. However, on behalf of myself and my sister Nancy we offer our thoughts and prayers. Cary was a brilliant fellow and a real contributor to his community as well as his family. I was proud to have him as my cousin and I am sorry we did not see each other more frequently in the last years of his life.
